+Monks of the village will lead citizens in their worship of [[shissatissk|Shissatissk]], the goddess of fishing.  Priestesses are known to have ventured to the mainland in order to share their religious beliefs.
Young Kaiika can often be found entertaining themselves with a simple game.  Six stand in a triangle formation at the end of a length of ice.  A seventh hurls themselves down the ice, hoping to knock over as many as possible.
