A Bugbear gladiator will offer to negotiate his freedom with you at the Colosseum of Ashes;

>//The northern gate opens, and a Bugbear gladiator emerges. He is armored and wields a battle axe in one hand and a warhammer in the other.// - Tome of Encounters (RPA-SQ1)

  * Throw the match and he rewards you with the gold he has on him.
  * Refuse his offer:
      * Quickly defeat the Bugbear and move onto the next round of the games.
      * The match persists, and the Bugbear exhibits his acrobatic skills.
      * The Bugbear wins the fight and leaves the Colosseum of Ashes free.

  * Translate them for the Bugbear, and inform the [[dragul|Dragul]] of the existence of the [[opaunka|Opaunka]].
  * Keep their true meaning to yourself.

A Bugbear prisoner of [[kulbak_prison|Kulbak]] gets confrontational with a [[dwarf|Dwarf]];

  * Lay into the the [[construct|Construct]] guard and earn the respect of the onlooking prisoners.
  * Defend the [[dwarf|Dwarf]] and receive bruises and a coin.
