====== Dragonhide Heart ======

The true heart of the [[gurlung_colossus|Gurlung Colossus]]. The room contains a long kitchen counter with various instruments and machinery.

Overhead, a gigantic sack of dragonhide hangs in a dark, spherical chamber. It is massive. It is attached to two pipes. The pipes are controlled by a large valve wheel. 

The dragonhide heart itself continually expands and contracts as it pumps oils throughout the [[gurlung_colossus|Colossus]]. Oil drips from the heart.

In the days of [[gimnax|Queen Gimnax]], [[gulpax|Gulpax]] worked in secret to create her [[gurlung_colossus|Colossus]]. With the aid of the [[flayer|Flayers]], a trio of [[giant_crab|giant crabs]] were able to install the gigantic dragonhide heart in the chest of the great machine. - Arcazion Pit (GS-ADV7)

==== Gurlong Colossus (RPA-ADV9)====
Entering the room, you will find a small [[hand_crank|hand crank]] among the many items left on the counter.

A rather large [[owlbear|owlbear]] has taken to nesting near the heart.
  * Attack the creature before it is completely aware of your presence.
    * Defeat it easily and it runs from the chamber.
    * Be thankful that it is not hungry after it defeats you. It steals something from your bag before leaving the chamber.
  * Attempt to startle it enough to make it flee.
    * It runs quickly from the chamber, seeking a quieter place to nest.
    * You manage to anger the [[owlbear|owlbear]] enough to attack you.

Once the [[owlbear|owlbear]] is dealt with, you can investigate further. You find a set of valve wheels. Turning the valve wheels will allow the heart to once again pump oil through the body of the [[gurlung_colossus|Colossus]].

There is slight chance that you may also encounter a [[sentry|Construct Sentry]] in the room.
  * Attack the [[sentry|sentry]] while you have a chance.
  * Pull the lever on the back of the [[sentry|sentry]].
  * Quickly scale the walls of the chamber before your are noticed.

If you are clever enough, you may find a hidden compartment under the counter.

==== Arcazion Pit (GS-ADV7)====
You will witness the birth of [[gulpax|Gulpax's]] [[gurlung_colossus|Colossus]] as a trio of [[giant_crab|giant crabs]] install the dragonhide heart in the chamber above. Your actions in the coming [[battle_of_the_arcazion_pit|battle]] will determine if the heart will beat or not.

As skirmishes rage across the [[gurlung_colossus|Colossus]], you will be forced to fight many enemies. Among them will include [[giant_crab|giant crabs]] and individuals from your past.
