A collective group of [[insectoid|Insectoid]] outcasts banished by the current hive queen and marked by an "X" on their chests.

Led by [[verash|Verash]] and [[urzon|Urzon]] during the time of [[gimnax|Queen Gimnax's]] rule, their goals include overtaking the throne and bringing an end to their segregation.

Mal'kanor are [[insectoid|Insectoids]] that are dismissed by the hive queen for one reason or another as an egg then  disposed of at birth;

Mal'kanor are hired by [[borid|Borid]] to work the [[dwarven_mines|Dwarven mines]] near [[ty_farzan|Ty Farzan]]. Very often, they are mistreated by the [[dwarf|Dwarves]]. They lead an unexpected uprising against the [[dwarf|Dwarves]].

  * Defend [[borid|Borid]].
  * Fight with the [[insectoid|Insectoids]].

If the [[dwarf|Dwarves]] win, the survivors will be put back to work under heavy guard.

If the Mal'kanor win, they will chase [[borid|Borid]] from the [[dwarven_mines|mines]] while slaughtering any [[dwarf|Dwarves]] that surrender. They will then turn their attention to the [[laz_arax|queen]] and regaining control of the [[hive|hive]] for themselves.
