Subterrean Lake
Fed from Dunshab Lakebed above, a steady stream of water enters the lake from a fissure in the ceiling. The water is cold and murky. It is filled with floating, bloated corpses.

A gigantic crystalline frog makes its home in the lake. It is clearly not of this plane.

>//It occurs to me now that the Saurians may very well be misguided in their ritual and some poor animal, lost from its home plane, is trapped below in a pile of uneaten corpses.// - Gulpax's Journal (GS-Journal)

The cavern is dark, with the only light coming from the fissure above.

----

History
Decades before, the cavern was dry. No fissure was visible in the ceiling.

Saurian artisans once gathered here. They had a durgolium box in their possession. Opening it revealed a crystalline seed. The air suddenly came alive around them with crackling energy. Since that time, a giant crystalline frog has resided in the lake.
