You find the ring in [[tarik_nowlin|Tarik Nowlin's]] pocket, as he is frozen in place following [[taron|King Taron]] successfully opening a rift over [[sabek|Sabek]]. The ring will prove useful as you encounter others frozen in time. Using the ring, you are able to see and hear many of their thoughts, fears, and ambitions.

Using the ring will allow you to free [[tarik_nowlin|Tarik Nowlin]] or [[taron|King Taron]]. The choice is yours.
