Zombie Infection
Infections are the result of germs and other microorganisms entering the body. They may enter the body in a variety of ways including open wounds or natural openings such as the eyes.

Zombie infections behave primarily the same way. The infection is typically spread through a zombie bite that pierces the skin.

Notable Cases
Zombie Outbreak
In your attempts to fulfill the queen's orders of ridding Sabek's catacombs of the undead, you may manage to instead unleash the horde on the city.

Her guards manage to protect the queen as she fleas the city. A few become infected and join the growing mass of walking dead.

>//“The undead have spread across the city. It will take weeks to stop the outbreak. I don’t know what happened down there, but clearly, you failed.”// - Queen Gimnax - Servants of Azema (GS-ADV2)

Servants of Azema
There are those in Ulos who willing sacrifice their living flesh to join the undead. By entering a state between life and death, they feel they are better equipped to serve Azema herself.

>//"Members of our priesthood often choose to shed their mortal forms to better serve their creator. The undying may seem to many like monsters, but they are immortal. In this, they are closer than us to the gods.” //- Priest - Servants of Azema (GS-ADV2)
