Drones are said to identify each other through their sense of smell.

They will become aggressive if they are provoked or feel threatened.

Arriving in [[ty_farzan|Ty Farzan]], you encounter an injured [[insectoid|Insectoid]], known as a [[mal_kanor|Mal'kanor]]. A swarm of drones is heading its way. You may or may not be able to aid the injured creature.

[[nayo|Nayo]] witnessed one of the drones carrying the [[imbri|Imbri]], the [[immortal_knight|Immortal Knight]], into the [[hive|hive]].

Drones can be witnessed near an underground [[waterfall|waterfall]], pollinating flowers and depositing [[blue_ichor|blue ichor]] into cracks in the cavern wall. Attempting to scale the wall will agitate them.

Entering the [[queens_nest|Queen's nest]], you are surrounded by drones looking to protect her.
