The military regiment loyal to [[taron|King Taron]] and the late [[amalia|Queen Amalia]]. Their role is to maintain order within [[nalos|Nalos]]; in direct conflict with the [[dragul|Dragul]] since their [[dragul_invasion|Invasion]].

The [[king_s_guard|King's Guard]] is divided into multiple branches and specializations:

  * Reconnaissance - General order across the many cities, towns, and lands
  * Palace Guard - Elite unit in the capital city of [[sabek|Sabek]], known as the best-trained fighters in [[nalos|Nalos]]
      * Hemgah - [[orc|Orc]] palace guard with eyes for Smyrnik
      * Smyrnik - [[vargar|Vargar]] palace guard put off by Hemgah's romantic interest

The [[dragul|Dragul]] see the [[king_s_guard|King's Guard]] as an extension of [[nalos|Nalos]] that stole their [[six_artifacts|artifacts]]; the two parties are in direct contention, having fought against each other in The [[great_war|Great War]] for 20 years.

In truth, it is the [[starlit_door|Starlit Door]] that had taken the items;
