The queen can lay thousands of eggs in her [[queens_nest|nest]].  The eggs are luminescent. The queen herself cares for her young by feeding them mashed up food from her own mouth.

==== The Hive (GS-ADV3) ====

The [[dwarf|Dwarven]] mining captain [[borid|Borid]] reports that [[immortal_knight|The Immortal Knight]] [[imbri|Imbri]] has most likely been taken captive by the [[insectoid|Insectoid]] queen, and that it may prove difficult to speak with her;

>//Haven’t seen her. If the bugs have [[imbri|Imbri]], she’ll be with Laz’arax, the [[hive|Hive’s]] queen, but good luck getting an audience. The drones will keep you at bay unless they think you’re one of their own.”//

After a lengthy adventure through the [[hive|hive]], you find [[imbri|Imbri]], the [[immortal_knight|Immortal Knight]], in the [[queens_nest|queen's nest]]. You are faced with a choice.

  * Fight [[laz_arax|Laz'arax]] to free [[imbri|Imbri]]
  * Attempt to negotiate for her release

During this period of time, there is a very good chance that the queen does not survive.
