A substance produced by the [[insectoid|Insectoids]] with corrosive properties. The smell of the [[ichor|ichor]] is said to be overpowering.

Due to its rarity, many consider it to be of great value.

The fragrance is overpowering, masking over other smells.

Even when used in small amounts, this [[ichor|ichor]] can burn through most objects. It is slow acting but effective.

Diluting it in water makes it less acidic and less pungent smelling.

When combined with heat, red ichor can cause a powerful explosion. Even the smallest spark can set it off if one is not careful.

You discover that when combined with [[blue ichor|blue ichor]], the combination allows you to sneak into the [[hive|Hive]] without being detected.

Based on earlier decisions, you may find that you and [[nayo|Nayo]] are enemies at this point in time. During a battle with her, she lures you closer, only for you to discover that you are standing in red ichor. Previously, the [[mal_kanor|Mal'kanor]] may have overthrown their [[laz_arax|queen]]. A confrontation with [[urzon|Urzon]] in the [[frozen_expanse|Frozen Expanse]] may occur, forcing you to choose sides.
