The Demon Elsifor tests the selflessness of the King's Guard who had come to search the area, and following the trial sets up his Personality Shoppe here.

In the center of an abandoned marketplace, three King's Guard soldiers battle each other. Four already lay dead nearby. A bottle of blue fluid rests on the ground in the middle of the fray. - Bogroot Demon (RPA-ADV6)

If you visit the Abandoned Market before the King's Guard Camp, three members of the King's Guard fight to the death;

“I poisoned them all but provided only enough antidote for one. Two were noble enough to take their own lives immediately. Two more died in battle. And now this.” - Elsifor, Bogroot Demon (RPA-ADV6)

• Reason with the guard to end their fighting:
  • Succeed, and they lay down their arms.
  • Fail, and they turn on you.
    • Unsheathe your weapon to defend yourself:
      • Defeat the remaining guard:
        • Drink Elsifor's antidote against his warning.
        • Heed Elsifor's words and do not take it.
    • Put your hands up and show you mean no harm:
      • They attack you until they fall.
• Watch and let them end each other.

Once the area is cleared, Elsifor sets up a stall of his own, in which he peddles new traits you;

On your first visit, the Demon gifts you an ice slug that is crawling up a post;

“Spawn of an ice wyrm from another plane. Here, you should have one.” - Elsifor

• You inspect the ice slug closely. It is cool in your hand, a wonderful contrast to the incredible heat of the swamp. You let it crawl across your brow and feel refreshed. - Bogroot Demon (RPA-ADV6)
