Goldbelly Mountain
One of the twin spires located near Kethra's Steppe. Collectively with Redtooth Peak they are known by the locals as the “Eyes of Kethra”. Mysterious beacons can be found at the top of both peaks which have long gone cold.

History

Located on the peak of the mountain, you find a contraption of pillars, platforms, mirrors, lenses, and light. The machine collects sunlight and focuses the sun's energy. A polished silver bowl sends a beam of light across to Redtooth Peak.
It actually works! It tracks the sun perfectly and condenses its rays into a powerful beam of heat. If I have the calibration right, it should be hot enought to burn anything. - Gulpax's Journal (GS-Journal)
