A collective group of Insectoid outcasts banished by the current hive queen and marked by an “X” on their chests. Led by Verash and during the time of Taron's rule, their goals include overtaking the throne and bringing an end to their segregation.

Mal'kanor are Insectoids that are dismissed by the hive queen for one reason or another as an egg then disposed of at birth;
