Captain Kaemon is a spirited pirate captain, looking out for himself and always for payment;

After a meeting in the seaside tavern [[golden_hope|The Golden Hope]], Captain Kaemon and his crew agree to take the [[taron|king]] to the [[Isle of Winter|Isle of Winter]].

While on the high seas, it becomes known that his crew plans to launch a coup against him:

  * If you warn him, the captain will throw the mutineers overboard and thank you.
  * If you keep it to yourself, a battle will break loose:
      * Aid Captain Kaemon to suppress the mutiny:
          * Succeed and win Kaemon's gratitude.
          * Fail and be thrown overboard by [[pitlin|Pitlin]], rescued by [[giselle|Captain Giselle]] and the [[emerald_dawn|Emerald Dawn]].
      * Aid Pitlin and the mutineers:
          * Succeed and win [[pitlin|Pitlin's]] respect.
          * Fail and be thrown overboard by Kaemon, rescued by [[giselle|Captain Giselle]] and the [[emerald_dawn|Emerald Dawn]].

If you put down the mutiny on the [[Iron Tide|Iron Tide]], Captain Kaemon will be brought to the arena to fight a [[Kraken |Kraken]] with you. - Tome of Encounters (RPA-Tome-SQ1-128)

  * If you slaughter the beast, you feast on its flesh and the captain's debt to you is repaid.
  * If it overpowers you, Kaemon and his crew die at your feet, and the [[Kraken|Kraken]] is killed before it scales the walls.
