Lycanthropy
The supernatural ability to transform into the shape of an animal. It is thought to be passed from victim to victim through various means such as bites, cuts, or curses. Infection rate for those injured is less than 100%.

Cures
There is no known cure for lycanthropy. Some errantly believe the Book of Remedies can offer potion that will work: Hornrash Blossom, Sweet Moss, and Ash of Withered Plum. - The Festival of Heroes (GS-ADV1)
There are potions that can be used on the victims to keep them asleep during their transformations.
