Grintaker

A well worn sword, used in multiple battles during its existence. The hilt and blade show its history through stains and repairs.

Going against the orders of King Taron, you may attempt to negotiate with a pair of Trolls. If successful, they will gift you with a sword before you leave the shadowy cave.

Instead, you may have decided to attack the two trolls in the shadowy cave. Having failed, you are now hated by them and future encounters will prove difficult. You may encounter Urka and Songak ransacking a village square. - Tome of Encounters (RPA-Tome-ADV4-5)

• Approach them in a peaceful manner, hoping to make amends.
• Slay them in a bloody conflict.

In either case, you will claim the sword as your own.

Rummaging through items in Eregrun's tent, you find shattered remains of a sword. Using his anvil and tools, you are able to align the pieces and reforge the sword. It is almost as good as new.
