Hazan

A Saurian hero known from history for bringing out the best in the next wave of champions. Sister to Bogli. In her early years, she worked as a traveling merchant while she honed her skills in battle.

Even in death, a reverence surrounds Hazan, as evidenced by the gathering of departed fighters around her;

She understands a warrior's code to both duty and the people a warrior defends. A sixty-foot bronze statue erected in her honor decorates the shore of Bornzel Bay.

Stopping for a break along a quiet pond, Hazan approaches your party with an ox cart. The cart is full of fresh fruits and vegetables. You also notice quite a few scrolls tucked between the baskets. - Explorers Guide (GS-Guide-ADV4-2)

• Challenge Hazan to a friendly fight.
• Skip the haggling and see what she has to offer.

Having met Hazan earlier in your travels near Kethra's Steppe, you are familiar with her and the items she has for sale. She has returned to Hornhelm to sell at the market.

• If you previously bested her in battle, you have her respect. She once again offers you her goods, at a friendly discount.
• If you previously lost to her in battle, she wishes to see you improve in your skills. She is willing to sell to you, but it will cost you more.
• If you did not battle her and only made a purchase, she remembers you as a coward. Fortunately, she is still willing to sell to you.

You may have met her brother Bogli along your journeys. It is your choice if you wish to share his fate with her or not.

You may have previously spared the life of Hazan's brother, Bogli. If you did, you find the two of them engaged in a heated battle. Bogli has clearly succumbed to the bite of the vampire. You will need to choose who you will aid in this fight. - Explorers Guide (GS-Guide-ADV6-41)

Instead, you may have chosen to kill Bogli to spare him from eternal death. If this is the case, you find that Hazan is surrounded by a swarm of undead soldiers. She is outnumbered and in need of assistance. - Explorers Guide (GS-Guide-ADV6-42)

You may be faced with the decision to side with or against Hazan at the Battle of the Arcazion Pit. Previous interactions with her may determine this decision.

Legendary figures deserve legendary tales. Hazan is one such figure. The tales of Hazan vary from place to place throughout Ulos, each different than the last.

• She was known the kingdom over as Hazan the Mighty, a champion in the queen's army.
• She defends Hornhelm from a group of invading Frost Giants.
• She wandered the land, overcome by grief, killing as many Vampires as she could manage.
• She chose a peaceful path and became a cartographer.
