The journal is made of weathered brown leather. The cover is adorned with the shape of a gear, the shape used by Gulpax's Agents. The back of the book bears Gulpax's name.

The pages are worn from constant use. Multiple pages appear to be missing.

Gulpax records all of her ideas for inventions in this journal. The book also contains notes from her various travels around Ulos. She generally keeps it with her or hidden somewhere in her workshop, away from peering eyes.

Once the journal comes into possession of your party, it becomes a valuable source of information.

A bodyguard in your party discovers the journal while snooping through her workshop.

You discover a code hidden in the journal. It speaks of her laboratory being destroyed and her notes about the planarverse stolen. Gulpax hopes to preserve that knowledge here. (GS-Guide-ADV2-21)
