Leader of her troop of Satyr and embroiled in a feud with the Human Duntum family over Castle Carleval. Jara is heir to the throne and seeks to reclaim Castle Carleval for her people.

Jara is fiercely protective of her people, never one to let them be walked over by others;

When you arrive at the Cemetery in the Forgotten Forest, you find a group of Satyr in merriment around a peculiar glowing stone:

• Join the Satyrs in their revelry:
  • You impress them with your footwork, and you meet their leader Jara.
  • Your performance falls flat, but your attempt is taken in good faith and you meet their leader Jara.
• Approach them directly in Dragul Common:
  • The Satyr welcome you, and you meet their leader Jara.
  • Your intent is misconstrued and you have to fight:
    • Slay a number of them and drive the rest off into the forest.
    • Be overpowered, but escape when a Ghost-Eater startles the group away. You run off into the forest with the stone in hand.
• Attempt to steal the stone:
  • You sneak away with the stone undetected.
  • You are caught and have to fight:
    • Slay a number of them and drive the rest off into the forest.
    • Be overpowered, but escape when a Ghost-Eater startles the group away. You run off into the forest with the stone in hand.

At Castle Carleval, if you helped the Satyrs reach Carleval, they will come to your aid fighting the ghostly enemies that ambush you and King Taron;

If you helped neither the Duntums nor the Satyr reach the castle, then you fight alone:

• Swiftly defeat the opposition:
  • You have the chance to forge a new peace with the Duntums.
    • If you are able to broker a peace between the Duntums and the Satyrs, the two will coexist for the next one thousand years.
  • If you fought by yourself, you keep Castle Carleval to yourself.
• Fail:
  • If you fought the Ghost-Eaters, the rift grows too large and Castle Carleval implodes.
  • If you fought the ghosts, Castle Carleval is lost to the Forgotten Forest forever.

Jara fights for the Dragul against a Starlit Door cultist with an ice wyrm and a Halfling loyal to the King's Guard atop a mountain in Iktel, Plane of Frost:

• If you side with the Dragul, you will fight alongside her:
  • If you defeat the opposition and are favored by the Satyr, she will greet you warmly. You claim the site, and find a blue rune.
  • If you defeat the opposition and are disfavored by the Satyr, you will earn her respect and claim the site, finding a blue rune.
  • If you fall to the opposition, you stumble through a rift back to Elsifor's Tent at Brizoor Waal in defeat.
