“You know, I’ve been reading up on prophecy since the invasion started. Listen to this: ‘Ye shall know my time is nigh when red moons float through Sabek’s sky.’ You can’t get more specific than that.” - Eye of Ulos (RPA-ADV4)

Minthrok is open to the idea of prophecy and possibility of fate.

He tends to mind his own business and want to stay out of trouble;

When looking through the shard of reflective glass, it is evident that Minthrok and Shortep have a special bond with their animals;

Looking around Minthrok’s shop through the reflective shard, everything takes on a special glow. Minthrok and Shortep appear connected to their beasts by silvery threads that emanate from their hearts. - Eye of Ulos (RPA-ADV4)

Upon waving the wand of truth above him, Minthrok comes to an upsetting conclusion:

“You know what? I never wanted to be a gamekeeper. This was all my father’s idea!” - Eye of Ulos (RPA-ADV4)

You may buy familiars from Minthrok and Shortep at the barracks of Taron's Arena.
