Backstory Appearances
Culpable
Elsifor summons Tadlind in Bogroot Swamp as a replacement for your brother inside his orange crystal prison:
“You get your brother back and all you have to do is sacrifice a stranger you’ve only just met. To be honest, it’s a pretty good deal. I’m almost never this generous.” - Elsifor, (BC - Culpable)
- Sacrifice Tadlind to free your brother.
- Let Tadlind go and keep your brother imprisoned.
- Tadlind will thank you with a gift.
If you sentenced Tadlind to life in the crystal, the Klynoks will offer to free him in Affril, Plane of Knowledge;
“I don’t get it, but he thinks he can set me free, but only part of me. I have to give up a part of myself to get out of this rock — either my purpose or my feelings. Either way, I’ll be split in two.” - Tadlind, (BC - Culpable)
- If you choose to abandon his purpose, Tadlind will reappear and embrace you, returning home to Sandhill Village with no distrust of anyone.
- If you choose to abandon his feelings, Tadlind will walk away full of ambition, with no regard for hurting anyone in his way.
