A mining camp standing in the shadows of the Hive. Many tents of various sizes encircle the camp. Multiple campfires are available for warmth. Benches beside them offer a moments rest.

When you reach the outskirts of town, Insectoid drones ascend from enormous cavities peppering the rockface, joining swarms that resemble dark clouds in the sky. - The Hive (GS-ADV3)

• Eregrun

Almost immediately after entering the camp, a swarm of Insectoids descend on your party. They are making a beeline for an injured Insectoid bearing an “X” upon its torso.

• Stand perfectly still, as instructed by Gulpax.
• Defend the injured Insectoid.

Sadly, despite your efforts, the Insectoid does not survive.

Shortly after this encounter, you enter the trading post of Eregrun. He offers advice on how you might gain access to the Hive.

Gulpax and Lomar part ways with your party as they head to the Frozen Expanse. Alpha-Zero will accompany you the rest of your way.
