Ulos has distinct regions and a diversity of races and cultures. As such, a colorful landscape of language pervades the world. The two most common are:
- Nalos Common
- Dragul Common
There is also:
- Gashto, the Demon tongue
- Language of the Ghost-Eaters
- Fingerspeak
Nalos Common
Spoken throughout Nalos, Nalos Common is the universal language of the southern half of Ulos.
Dragul Common
Spoken across the Dragul City-States, Dragul Common is the united language of the northern region of Ulos.
Due to tensions between the King's Guard and the Dragul, some members of the latter refuse to speak anything but Dragul Common when in their presence;
Gundur speaks to the gang leader for what seems like a long time. Then he translates her words, as she refuses to speak in Nalos Common. - Crack in Kulbak (RPA-ADV5
Gashto
A language exclusively spoken by Demons.
— Ghost-Eaters — Curiously, the language of the Ghost-Eaters is remarkably similar to Gashto with its gurgling sounds;
The disembodied head makes a strange gurgling noise. It’s hard to tell if it’s laughing or dry-heaving.
The Ghost-Eaters’ noises bear a striking resemblance to Gashto, the Demon tongue. - Ghost-Eaters of the Forgotten Forest (RPA-ADV7)
