Lantern of Wayward Souls

A magical lantern used for interplanar travel. The lantern is the work of the gods.

“This is the instrument of a god, not some mortal's plaything.” - Kethra - Ascending Kethra's Steppe (GS-ADV4)

The lantern looks ordinary in appearance. A handle rests on the top of the lantern. The center of the lantern contains a crystal. However, when lit by Kethra, it emits a dark beam of black void, stealing all nearby light.

Description:Ordinary looking Lantern
Origin:Kethra

Powers

The lantern possesses the ability to project visions onto those who look into its beam of light. Those affected claim to feel as if they have become a ghost, floating above their own mortal bodies. Visions vary in intensity and are said to be horrific in nature. Few can withstand the power of the lanter.

Interplanar travel can be attained using the lantern, if the user knows how to use it properly.
