Creation of Ulos (Dawn of Ulos)

For untold eons, the mortal races lived in their separate planes, unaware of each other and ignorant of the many worlds beyond their own. Now the time has come. Azema the Benevolent, highest god of Dragons, forges the planes together with the rainbow flames of her breath. A new world is born: Ulos, the plane of unity. She hopes sentient beings from across the planarverse will one day live here in harmony. As she toils, Azema opens rifts to other planes, drawing upon their elemental essence. Armies flood through these rifts to fight over the newly formed lands. These battles have drawn the attention of other gods. Curious to know which mortals will triumph, they gather over Ulos and place wagers on their favorites, assisting some as they expand their territory and hindering others. - Dawn of Ulos

Taron's Trophy (RPA-ADV2)

A mural depicting Azema and her power can be found through the durgolium trapdoor in the Ancient Chapel;

You take a moment to admire the chamber’s walls, which are carved with a scene of the Arrival, when Azema first brought together many worlds thousands of years ago through the gate at Brizoor Waal. - Taron's Trophy (RPA-ADV2)

Outbreak in Undercity (RPA-ADV3)

Azema's Bones can be found in Undercity, looking over those who would enter.

Azema's immeasurable power is alluded to again, as well as her role in the creation of the Immortal Knight:

It was Azema’s magic that first drew the many planes and their peoples to Ulos. It was then that she forged the armaments of the Immortal Knight, defender of Nalos, who was the first being to cross into Ulos from another plane.
According to myth, her final act was to order the gate at Brizoor Waal closed, not to be reopened for three thousand years, when she promised to return and bless the faithful. Three thousand years have passed, and the anniversary of Azema’s death approaches. - Outbreak in Undercity (RPA-ADV3)

Offered a proper tribute, Azema's lingering self will bestow a blessing upon you;

A swirl of glowing dust surrounds this offering and fills the chamber with the shape of a spectral dragon. Azema’s memory looks down on you with love and gratitude for your offering.
“Take a small touch of my blessing,” she tells you. “Look forward to my return.” - Azema, Outbreak in Undercity (RPA-ADV3)

Gate of Brizoor Waal (RPA-ADVF)

Following the final battle at Brizoor Waal, Azema's spirit coalesces with all those on the battlefield for her return;

Then, the earth shakes. The gate suddenly unleashes light and wind across Brizoor Waal. The entire battlefield and every combatant is now awash in an eerie glow. Even the spirits of those who have fallen rise up to watch as the swirling energy expands forward like an oily bubble, slowly shifting into the shape of a towering spectral Dragon. Azema steps forward, dwarfing even the largest of Vyrandore’s brood. Each of her ghostly rainbow scales contains the entirety of another world. It is as if her spirit were composed of the planarverse itself. - Gate of Brizoor Waal (RPA-ADVF)

The divine fire Azema bathes the inhabitants of Ulos has both the power to bless the worthy and retribute the contemptible;

Azema looks down on you, her eyes shining into yours with the colors of a million worlds. Then, she opens her mouth and drowns you in a blast of spiritual fire. Azema’s blessing is one of power and light, and it threatens to tear your soul to pieces. - Gate of Brizoor Waal (RPA-ADVF)
  • Endure the blast and receive Azema's full divinity, Brizoor Waal at your disposal.
  • Fail to withstand it and be burned by her might, awaking some time later.
  • Receive part of Azema's divinity, and make your escape to fight another day.
Azema’s fire dissipates. Her form expands to a point of tension and then bursts, showering the area with vibrant droplets of light. - Gate of Brizoor Waal (RPA-ADVF)

Ten Tasks for You, Who Would See Azema’s Return

by Bertram Hoogna, Esq.

Circle a lake of blood and ash
Find a girl where two are one
Purge a fever, be not rash
Enter the palace all undone
Seek your freedom from a tomb
Rid a tree of vile ghost
Make a path where spirits bloom
His ring to whom you love the most
Ride a giant through the veil
And find our Knight Immortal
With blazing helm and sword step forth
To draw Azema from her portal
