First met in the Undercity Library, hatching a plot against Sabek.

Masik is unrelenting in his mission to uncover the secrets of the planarverse;

Masik approaches you, waving his hand over the strange sphere as he speaks. “You killed our Mowla, and now you attempt to thwart our plans. I am afraid I cannot deal with you kindly.” - Eye of Ulos (RPA-ADV4)

Wise and fervent, Masik established himself as a beacon to the Starlit Door with years of commitment;

Masik was a great sage and scholar, and he will be sorely missed among the devoted members of the Door. - Gate of Brizoor Waal (RPA-ADVF) 

Masik sits at a round table in the Undercity Library of the Starlit Door with other members of the cult congregated near him:

• If you slayed Mowla, the Starlit Door move to avenge her, led by Masik.
  • Put them down, slaying everyone.
  • Be overpowered by their numbers and left for dead.
• Otherwise, win their interest with any artifacts already recovered and learn more about their plans:
  • Retain and act on your loyalty to the King's Guard:
    • Put down their treason and slay them all.
    • Be overpowered by their numbers and left for dead.
  • Join Masik and the Starlit Door in their crusade:
    • Masik will task you with delivering the contents of Bertram Hoogna's durgolium desk to the Temple of Ulos in Sabek.

Meet Masik directly at the Temple of Ulos as requested and he will explain that King Taron is responsible for the purple tear in the sky;

“King Taron has opened a rift to Affril, Plane of Knowledge. Let’s hope he gets lost there.” Masik calls you forward and welcomes you with open arms. - Eye of Ulos (RPA-ADV4) 

• Deliver him the onyx cube, and Masik will officially induct you as a member of the Starlit Door.

The two of you will then unearth and stow the Eye of Ulos; before taking his leave, Masik will inform you of another item of interest holed away in Sabek Palace and ask you to retrieve it.

If you went against the cult while in Undercity, Masik will attack you having extracted the Eye, with or without Mowla depending on the fate you sealed for her:

• Defeat the Starlit Door, and recover the Eye.
• Fall to the Starlit Door, and they escape with the Eye.

If you tended to the scene at Taron's Arena, a Kaiika priestess will inform you that Masik and the other members of the cult had already been to the Temple and acquired the Eye of Ulos.

If Masik survived your encounter with him in Sabek, he will fight in the name of the Starlit Door with a Grayfolk by his side against a King's Guard soldier and the Dragon Vyrandore inside a temple in Affril, Plane of Knowledge:

• If you side with the Starlit Door, you will fight alongside him:
  • If you defeat the opposition and are favored by the Dragonkin, he will greet you enthusiastically. You claim the site, and find a purple rune.
  • If you defeat the opposition and are disfavored by the Dragonkin, you will receive his distrust and claim the site, finding a purple rune.
  • If you fall to the opposition, you stumble through a rift back to Elsifor's Tent at Brizoor Waal in defeat.
