Known ranks within the organization include: full initiate, full member, and “Ascendant.” A higher ranking member performs the initiation rites by tracing the shape of an eye on the member's forehead (RPA-ADV9). Some members also mark their foreheads or arms (RPA-SQ1) with the eye either with black ash (RPA-ADV7) or purple tattoos (RPA-ADV5).

With a Starlit Door victory at the battle of Brizoor Waal, a chaotic age across Ulos is begun;

The Starlit Door has thrown the gate of Brizoor Waal wide open, overriding all mechanisms of control. In the gate, there is now an always morphing confluence of the planes. Every pathway to every reality is always open.

The Starlit Door does not abide by the same conduct the King's Guard or the Dragul follow; instead, the Starlit Door does whatever they want to find the answers they seek, by any means necessary.

The Starlit Door are trained in powerful magics, evidenced by their binding of the Demon Elsifor to the Giant Mangrove of Bogroot Swamp;

Many members of the Starlit Door bear the mark of the cult on their person - an eye-shaped insignia - in one form or another. It may appear as a piece of jewelry or a tattoo.
