Rose can be playful, but will do whatever job needs to be done for the Starlit Door;

Rose is the blacksmith in Jolev and will sell you weapons.

If she deems you worthy she will tell you about her family's history with the Starlit Door when inquiring about her ring;

“The ring belonged to my great grandmother. My family has always held an interest in the fate of our world. The cosmos must be balanced, with Ulos at the center of it all.” - Rose, Taron's Trophy (RPA-ADV2)

She will also give you a statement from Frogkin sage Uulog Gorpip.

Encountering Rose in an alleyway, it becomes evident she is responsible for the bluestone explosive diversion at Taron's Arena in Sabek so the Starlit Door can claim the Eye of Ulos:

You question the merchant further and learn that a Halfling woman with a strange ring planted a satchel near the wall and then ran off before anyone was the wiser. - Eye of Ulos (RPA-ADV4)

You notice traces of explosive bluestone powder on her shoes, and you see the Starlit Door insignia on her ring. It seems Rose had a role to play in the cult’s plot against Sabek. - Tome of Encounters (RPA-ADV4)

Rose fights against the Ogre Tog and the Human Jeremy Duntum, aided by floating, multicolor spheres, within a vault in Mikto, Plane of Secrets:

• If you side with the Starlit Door, you will fight alongside her:
  • If you defeat the opposition and are favored by the Halfling, she will greet you warmly. You claim the site, and find a green rune.
  • If you defeat the opposition and are disfavored by the Halfling, you will no longer be held against and claim the site, finding a green rune.
  • If you fall to the opposition, you stumble through a rift back to Elsifor's Tent at Brizoor Waal in defeat.

Visiting Rose's shop, you see an iron that needs working, as well as a good idea where she might keep her gold:

• Assist Rose and impress her with your skill, paid with a piece of equipment.
• Steal the coin from her stash while she is distracted.

The blacksmith is working on a candle stick as you watch her work you know what needs to be done even though you have never worked at a forge before. When the blacksmith steps away for a moment,

• You step in and help the blacksmith finish the candle stick.
• You take over and shape the candle stick into a piece of art.

Rose, King Taron, and Tarik Nowlin all grew up in Jolev together;
