Mighty heroes don’t just appear out of thin air – they must be created! Race, class, alignment, skills, traits, and equipment are all elements of the perfect hero, ready to take on the opposition in the quest for glory and riches.
In Roll Player, you compete with your opponents to create the greatest fantasy adventurer who has ever lived, preparing to embark on an epic quest. Roll and draft dice to build up your character’s attributes. Buy weapons and armor to outfit your hero. Train to gain skills and to discover your hero’s traits, in order to prepare them for their journey. Earn Reputation Stars by constructing the perfect character. The player with the greatest Reputation wins the game and will surely triumph over whatever nefarious plot lies ahead!
Roll Player: Monsters & Minions
A call to arms! An abomination is terrorizing villages throughout the kingdom, leaving behind a path of death and destruction. The king has summoned all able-bodied adventurers to return to the capital and organize a plan to rid the kingdom of this menace.
In Roll Player: Monsters & Minions, players compete not only to construct the greatest fantasy characters, but also to gather information about the looming threat and prepare for a final showdown against the beast. The more prepared the adventurers are for the battle, the better they’ll fare, but that information isn’t free. Gather details from the Monster’s Minions for the fight ahead. Where is the Monster's lair? What obstacles will there be along the way? How will it strike next?
Players earn additional Reputation Stars by driving back the evil Monster and its Minions. The player with the most impressive reputation wins the game and becomes heir to the kingdom!
Roll Player: Fiends & Familiars
A second wave of monsters has arrived on the horizon! Enemy minions flood the countryside with pesky fiends in tow. To bolster his forces against this new menace, King Taron has ordered mythical creatures to serve as familiars to the King’s Guard. With these companions by their side, the heroes of Nalos must stem the tide of the Dragul Invasion.
In Fiends & Familiars, players are now assisted by familiars and hindered by fiends as they compete to construct the greatest fantasy characters. Familiars lend unique powers to their keepers. These powers, along with new goods in the market, offer hope. But all the while, malicious fiends torment the heroes with new restrictions.
Prepare for another showdown against the monsters and earn precious reputation stars by battling their minions as you develop your own character. Prove that your hero and familiar are the greatest champions of Nalos!
After a thousand years of peace, Dragul armies raided from the north, prompting you and every other loyal citizen of Nalos to sign up as soldiers of the King’s Guard. The armies of Nalos fought long and hard against the North’s monstrous generals and their minions, finally stemming the tide of the Dragul Invasion.
But new threats have arisen that jeopardize all of Ulos. A mysterious cult prepares for the return of an ancient god. The long-abandoned gate at Brizoor Waal, a portal between planes, rumbles with new life. Strange rifts appear in the sky, unleashing bizarre creatures into your world. Dragul invaders seek to exploit this instability to conquer Nalos.
As a humble soldier of the King’s Guard, you are called away from your regiment on a special mission that will allow you to uncover the secrets of your world. You will discover powerful artifacts and meet members of the cult working to unearth them. You will confront Dragul warriors and discover the motives behind their invasion. And you will encounter strange beings from other planes who threaten to disrupt the very fabric of your universe.
Roll Player Adventures: Nefras's Judgement
Nefras, the snake-faced Goddess of Judgement, rules over the realms of dream and memory. She observes all souls in the planarverse to discover their true nature and reward them accordingly.
But Nefras is not the Goddess of Retribution. She does not bring order to the lawless or punishment to the wicked. Instead, the Scale-Faced One assesses mortal hearts and empowers their owners with appropriate gifts.
When King Taron’s loyal soldiers put down the Dragul Invasion of Nalos, they threw the captured minions into Kulbak Prison, where the enchanted gates and ruthless Construct guards make escape all but impossible. Once every year, the king releases the toughest gang of prisoners into the royal colosseum.
You play as a squadron of minions — Gnolls, Kobolds, Bugbears, Goblins, or Insectoids — that were captured on the battlefield and locked up in Kulbak. But in six short weeks, King Taron will visit the prison, and he might give you the chance to fight for your freedom. Can you build a reputation and establish yourself as the prison’s most powerful crew?
Lockup: Breakout
Everyone in Kulbak has heard rumor of secret passages that run beneath the prison. Ages ago, the catacombs carved into these mountains were used to house fallen heroes. Queen Gimnax built a prison over this sacred site during the Great War, enclosing those ghosts and their treasure behind its walls.
Some say the catacombs lead to the tomb of Khathandor, greatest of the Dragul warriors. Others swear that the real treasure to be found in the tunnels beneath Kulbak is a crack in the prison’s outer wall. To find the truth, you’ll have to send your seeker to explore the crumbling catacombs by lantern light.
New opportunities await you above ground, too, as you influence the legendary characters who inhabit the prison. Strike a deal with Warden Mercy. Make a truce with Masik and his Starlit Door cultists. Commune with the spirit of Khathandor. Gain their favor while you probe the hidden history of Kulbak in search of gold and freedom.
Cartographers: A Roll Player Tale
Queen Gimnax has ordered the reclamation of the Northern Lands. As a cartographer in her service, you are sent to map this territory, claiming it for the Kingdom of Nalos. Through official edicts, the queen announces which lands she prizes most, and you will increase your reputation by meeting her demands.
But you are not alone in this wilderness. The Dragul contest your claims with their outposts, so you must draw your lines carefully to reduce their influence. Reclaim the greatest share of the queen’s desired lands and you will be declared the greatest cartographer in the kingdom.
The expedition to the Western Lands is the kind of honor that comes once in a lifetime for a royal cartographer. But these are dangerous times. War ravages the land, and you are sure to encounter Dragul forces determined to thwart Queen Gimnax’s plans for western expansion.
Fortunately, brave heroes have risen to the defense of Nalos. Chart their deeds alongside the queen’s edicts and secure your place in history.
Cartographers: Nebblis - Plane of Flame
It is rumored that the forges of the ancient dwarves were connected by magic to the great volcano Astmork. As a royal cartographer, you are eager to see for yourself. Now, you stand before a mountain that belches flame into the smoke-blackened sky of another world. This map could be the key to great fame and glory if you can avoid the rivers of molten lava long enough to complete it.
Cartographers: Affril - Plane of Knowledge
When a rift suddenly opened and strange creatures rode through on their bat-like steeds, you knew you might only have one chance to map this plane. You leapt through, to find yourself standing amidst a network of purplestone archways rising from a vast gray sea. The time has come to pull out your compass and begin what will surely be the greatest challenge of your career as a royal cartographer.
Cartographers: Undercity - Depths of Sabek
Beneath Nalos’ capital city Sabek lies Undercity, a twisting labyrinth of corridors, caverns, and passageways, populated by local criminals and renegades living on the fringes of society. No formal study of its layout has ever been done. The queen has charged you with exploring Undercity’s depths: locating underground rivers, settlements, and the strange mushroom forests that bloom in phosphorescent caverns. The last cartographer never returned — but I’m sure you’ll have better luck.
Cartographers: Frozen Expanse - Realm of the Frost Giants
Chill winds howl across the Frozen Expanse, where the Kaiika make their home and fearsome Frost Giants lumber through the snow. Queen Gimnax sent you to this cursed place with the fruits of a past expedition: the torn scraps of a map, partially finished by another cartographer who did not survive the journey. Now it’s up to you to finish mapping the Frozen Expanse with the work of an ill-fated guildfellow to guide your way.
Cartographers: Kethra's Steppe - Redtooth & Goldbelly
From the grassy plain of Kethra’s Steppe rise the twin spires of Redtooth Peak and Goldbelly Mountain. In addition to charting the terrain around these mountains, you must rekindle the mysterious beacons atop their summits. These fires once burned every night to represent the Eyes of Kethra, goddess of thresholds and gates. Queen Gimnax hopes that renewing their flames will gain her the goddess’s favor, perhaps opening the door to other worlds.
Cartographers: Hornhelm - Wasteland Market
Deep in the barren wastes lies the famed Saurian market at Hornhelm, where merchants from across Ulos gather to hawk their wares. On display are fine fabrics, aromatic spices, and a variety of impressively crafted goods. Of particular interest to you are the merchants selling specialized gear that can increase the speed of your labor and the accuracy of your maps. Improve your tradecraft by equipping yourself with items from the wasteland market.
Goblin Vaults: A Roll Player Tale
In the dark corners of Kulbak Prison, away from the prying eyes of the guards, you're likely to find inmates huddled together in secret, playing a game of Goblin Vaults.
Goblin Vaults is a strategy card game for 1-5 players featuring bidding, card placement, and scoring patterns. In the game, you wager cards to win loot from the central cell block, then stash that loot wisely in your vault, earning gears based on the position of cards within that vault. You can also gain gears from scoring objectives that change each game.
With cunning and clever scheming, make your bid to be feared amongst your peers! You'll need wits and luck to play your cards right as you fill your vault and influence the warden in your favor. After nine rounds, whoever has the most gears wins!
Dawn of Ulos: A Roll Player Tale
For untold eons, the mortal races lived in separate planes, unaware of other worlds beyond their own. But now the dragon god Azema forges a new world by opening rifts to other planes…
Dawn of Ulos is an economic tile-laying game for 1-5 players set in the world of Roll Player and Cartographers. You compete in a game among gods of the planarverse, wagering on and manipulating the rise and fall of mortals.
Control the fate of Ulos! Develop a new world, invest in your favorite factions, and pit armies against each other. Choose wisely when to exert your influence. As factions rise and fall, will you earn the most favor with the world creator?
